This fantastic 11 night tour takes you on an unforgettable
journey through the Nordic Winter.
Starting in the stunning city of Stockholm you then fly north to the
amazing Ice Hotel, with the opportunity to enjoy a variety of winter
activities.

Whether you choose to sleep 'on ice' is entirely up to you!
Extra nights can be added if required, or the holiday shortened in
various ways if time does not permit the full itinerary. Further

A scenic rail journey through the arctic wilderness takes you into
Norway and next day you join the Hurtigruten (Coastal Voyage)
sailing south through the lovely Lofoten Islands.

You now have four days to relax and enjoy the spectacular vistas of
mountains and fjords, as well as the diversity of ports of call en
route to Bergen.
From Bergen you take the train 'Over the Roof of Norway' to conclude
this memorable holiday.
An Evening Showmobile Safari 'In Search of Northern Lights', with
dinner included is also available from 135pp (sharing snowmobile) or
195pp driving own snowmobile.

Departure on Saturdays is generally more cost effective, but other
days may be possible.
Nordic Explorer Itinerary
Day 1
1035 Depart Heathrow for Stockholm, arriving 1410.
Overnight - Bed & Breakfast - Clarion Sign Hotel, Stockholm (2
nights)
Day 2
At leisure in Stockholm
Overnight - Bed & Breakfast - Clarion Sign Hotel, Stockholm
Day 3
1200 Depart Stockholm for Kiruna, arriving 1330. Transfer to the Ice
Hotel. Thermal clothing/boots will be issued on arrival and you will
have a guided tour of the Ice Hotel.
Overnight in the Ice Hotel or warm cabin/room
Day 4
Breakfast at the inn. Day at leisure with optional activities as
required.
Overnight in warm cabin or hotel room
Day 5
Breakfast at the inn. Transfer to Kiruna Station for 1100 train to
Narvik, arriving 1400. At 1615 depart Narvik by bus for Harstad,
arriving 1830.
Overnight - Bed & Breakfast - Thron Hotel - Harstad
Day 6
0830 Depart Harstad on southbound Coastal Voyage, sailing through
Vesteralen and Lofoten Islands, with a detour into the amazing
Trollfjord if weather conditions permit.
Overnight - Half Board - Coastal Voyage (3 nights)
Day 7
Today you will cross the Arctic Circle as you head south through
more panoramic island and mountain vistas.

Day 8
This morning you can spend a few hours in Trondheim before
continuing south to Kristiansund, Molde and Alesund.

1430 Arrive Bergen

At leisure in Bergen

1030 Depart Bergen for the scenic rail journey 'Over the Roof of
Norway' to Oslo arriving 1800.
Overnight - Bed & Breakfast - Royal Christiania Hotel, Oslo
Day 12
1710 Depart Oslo for London Heathrow, arriving 1830.
