Waterfalls, limestone valleys and thickly carpeted woodland contrast with the scattered remains of former mine workings and other rural industries which weave a rich tapestry of the land's heritage.

Add in the scenic views of the harbour town of Whitby, famed for its vampiric folklore, 199 steps to the ruined abbey and strong ties to the whaling industry and you’ll barely have time to catch your breath from the spectacular scenery and the fish and chips, which we hear are second to none!
