There are many things to do in York. Visit the beautiful York Minster, the famous railway museum or the Jorvik Centre or walk the city walls. There are also many independent shops and national stores which all make for a lovely day out.
Harrogate is known for its eclectic, elegant and diverse range of shops – as well at the famous Betty’s Tea Rooms. A warren of medieval streets and stone staircases weave their way up and down the hill in Knaresborough. The town centre is perched on the cliffs above the River Nidd and the imposing railway viaduct across the Nidd Gorge offers an amazing view.
